Vicky Stergiopoulos

Vicky Stergiopoulos, MD, MHSc, FRCPC

Vicky Stergiopoulos completed her medical degree at Dalhousie University and postgraduate training at the University of Toronto, specializing in psychiatry.  She also holds a Master of Health Sciences Degree in Health Administration form the Department of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation of the University of Toronto.

Her clinical and research work focus on the development and evaluation of interventions to address the needs of people who are homeless and those who make frequent use of mental health services.  She is interested in mental health policy, community development, and the redesign of our system of mental health care for the purpose of system improvement.

She is a clinician scientist at the Center for Research on Inner City Health, the Keenan Research Center  of the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute and the Psychiatrist-In-Chief at St. Michael’s Hospital.  She is also the Director of the Division of Adult Psychiatry and Health Sytems and an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto.
