October 21 – 25, 2013: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Trudy Lieberman, past president of the Association of Health Care Journalists in the U.S., will be visiting four Canadian cities this fall as a Fulbright Scholar and guest of EvidenceNetwork.ca. Lieberman currently covers health and the coverage of health for the Columbia Journalism Review and blogs at CJR.org. As a fellow at the Center for Advancing Health, she contributes to the preparedpatientforum.org blog, and is a contributor to The Nation. She has had a long career at Consumer Reports specializing in insurance, health care, health care financing and long-term care. She has won numerous honors and awards including two other Fulbright awards. She was a senior specialist in the United Kingdom in 2011 and a senior scholar in Japan in 1993.  Lieberman is also an adjunct associate professor public health at the CUNY School of Public Health in New York City.
