  • raise awareness of the importance of mental health
  • fight against the stigma which, still today, revolves on this theme
  • Involve institutions on the importance of psychological well -being, on the prevention and increase in actions in support of activities and programs on mental health.

Physical health and mental health

The World Health Organization defines health as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well -being and not simply the absence of illness or infirmity.”

From this definition we can understand how the psychological aspect of a person fits fully among the fundamental well -being factors personal and social. Thus the definition of health is completed, which cannot be considered only a state of physical well -being.

However, to give each aspect the right relevance, the WHO promotes support for the topics of physical health and psychological well -being every year with two days:

  • World Health Day
  • World Mental Health Day

Precisely in relation to the definition of “health”, we can consider these two complementary events.

There is no doubt how “an active lifestyle is essential for our physical and psychological well -being and for health in general” (as the WHO itself says), as well as psychological well -being allows us to lead a fuller and more active life.

Unebravo for the World Mental Health Day

Celebrating psychological well -being on World Mental Health Day for us at Unebravo means having the opportunity to make the importance known as many people as possible:

  • prevention
  • of quality psychological therapy
  • of the work support of therapists
  • of the well -being of each patient at 360 degrees
  • of greater economic sustainability of therapy.

If we were to choose some phrases on the day of mental health, rather than mention the great psychologists and psychotherapists of history, we would borrow the words that can be read on the reviews of Unebravo (on our site and on Trustpilot).

They are the speech voice of those who have experienced therapy with our service and can be inspired for many other people.

Among the many, we mention one that tells how a therapeutic path is not useful only to those who face great problems or pathologies, but also to those who want to make a path of inner growth that is reflected in everyday life.

“I discovered some causes of my ailments and thanks to the help of the psychologist chosen for me I began to be more attentive to certain working and life dynamics to which I was going to meet. Every time, the feeling of comfort of being able to express their problems freely was the motivating thrust to go on improving my days” Alessio, a unhappy patient.
