The mother of Elon Musk’s 14th child claims that, to avoid having to take care of it, the billionaire paid her $15 million, along with a large monthly sum.

Ashley St. Clair, an American influencer known for her right-wing views, claims that Elon Musk is the father of her son, Romulus, who was born in September. But according to her, the billionaire never had any intention of taking care of the child. To buy her silence, he allegedly offered her a massive financial settlement: $15 million, plus $100,000 a month until the boy came of age.

A cheque to erase him from her life

Ashley St. Clair is positive: Elon Musk is the father of her son Romulus. The DNA test carried out at the request of the New York court confirmed this to be true to 99.9999%. But instead of a paternal role, he was offered a financial contract. According to documents and exchanges consulted by the Wall Street Journal, the billionaire’s personal adviser, Jared Birchall, offered the mother an agreement providing for the immediate payment of 15 million dollars, as well as a monthly pension of 100,000 dollars until the child’s 21st birthday – on condition that Elon Musk was never mentioned as the child’s father, either on the birth certificate or in public.

Ashley St. Clair refused to sign. According to her, the agreement did not guarantee anything in the event of the child’s serious illness, nor did it include a trust fund or life insurance in the event of the billionaire’s premature death. In February, she chose to reveal the father’s identity on X (formerly Twitter), claiming that silence had been imposed on her, but that the tabloids would soon force her to talk. In response, Elon Musk cancelled the $15 million offer and reduced the monthly pension to $40,000.

For the child’s mother, everything indicates that Elon Musk never intended to get personally involved. He simply wanted to add a child to his collection without taking responsibility for it. The influencer explains that she was pushed to comply with unusual requirements from the start of the pregnancy: delivery by caesarean section to “maximise the size of the brain”, circumcision imposed, and two million dollars sent to cover her expenses, including one million in the form of a loan.

A strategy of large-scale reproduction

The case of Ashley St. Clair is just the latest example of an already well-documented obsession of Elon Musk’s: that of repopulating the planet with gifted children. According to the Wall Street Journal, the Tesla boss actively seeks to have children with women he deems “intelligent”, sometimes by offering them his sperm, as was the case with Shivon Zilis, a former Tesla and OpenAI executive, Yale graduate and mother of two of his children.

It’s the same old story: Elon Musk is reportedly prepared to spend millions to ensure the discretion of these mothers and avoid any day-to-day involvement. He is even said to have discussed with Ashley St. Clair the need to use surrogate mothers to “reach legionnaire level before the apocalypse”, in his own words in a message quoted by the WSJ. At the same time, some of his most high-profile children, such as X Æ A-Xii, are already following their father in political circles, all the way to the White House, without their mother’s consent.
