This billionaire has a piece of advice for Gen Z, if you have time, use it to learn more about this field.

If you’re young and looking to make your mark, Mark Cuban has a clear message: immerse yourself in artificial intelligence, because those who master it today will shape the world of tomorrow.

Artificial intelligence: a winning bet for young people

Mark Cuban has never been afraid of making mistakes. Far from it. The billionaire investor, known for his outspokenness and flair for business, often recounts his failures with a wry smile. At a conference at South by Southwest (SXSW), he recalled one of his most memorable flops: the sale of powdered milk. A project that collapsed as quickly as a house of cards, for lack of an appetising product. But if he had to start all over again today, his choice would be crystal clear: he would dive headfirst into artificial intelligence. “If I were 16, 18, 20 or 21 years old today, I would spend every minute of my time learning about AI,” he says with conviction.

Why? Because AI is everywhere. Because AI is everywhere, and those who master it have an invaluable asset. The billionaire sees enormous potential in the ability of young people to learn about these technologies and teach them to others. Take NotebookLM, for example: a young entrepreneur could learn how to handle it, offer demonstrations to small local businesses and charge $25 an hour to show them how to boost their productivity using AI. “Those who really invest in it will crush it,” he says. For him, AI is not just a technology of the future, it is a formidable weapon for standing out from the crowd and creating value.

Mindset: the key to success

Mark Cuban doesn’t just preach AI learning. He also insists on a fundamental element: attitude. “AI is never the answer. It’s a tool”, he explains. For him, it’s not the tool that makes the difference, but the way you use it. He also applies this vision to his investments. Star of the TV show Shark Tank, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks is not content with analysing business plans or promising products. Above all, he is looking for passionate, hard-working entrepreneurs. “I want someone who loves their product or service so much that they feel they’re doing a service by selling it,” he says.

Failure is part of the game. And Mark Cuban is living proof of that. What counts is the ability to get back up again. “It doesn’t matter how many times you fail. You only have to be right once. A maxim that resonates like a mantra for all those who dream of building their success.
