Some examples are the red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris), the Moorish squirrel (Atlantoxerus getulus), Junín red squirrel (Sciurus pyrrhinus), etc. In this BIOencyclopedia article we will learn about the different types of squirrels, and at the same time you will be able to learn what squirrels are like.

Red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris)

The red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) inhabits coniferous and deciduous forests in Europe and Asia, from sea level to 2,000 meters.
